Andy leads 2-0, last winning at the Australian Open round of 16 in 2005 6-3, 7-6(8-6), 6-1.
In round one Roddick defeated Lukas Dlouhy 6-3, 6-4, 7-5 and in round two Roddick beat Michael Berrer 6-2, 6-2, 6-4.

Andy Roddick Defeats Tursunov In Davis Cup First Match
11.30.2007 PORTLAND- Andy Roddick helped the United States to a 2-0 lead in the Davis Cup final, beating Russia's Dmitry Tursunov 6-4, 6-4, 6-2
in the first match Friday. Roddick, ranked number in the world, improved to 6-0 in Davis Cup play this year. "It's kind of like 'so close but so far away.'
There's no celebration," Roddick said. "It's one match. The celebration will be saved for when we win, if we win." James Blake also won his singles
match Friday. Doubles is played Saturday and reverse singles are played Sunday as one nation looks to win three total matches to claim the victory.

a successful debut defeating Nikolay Davydenko of Russia 6-3, 4-6, 6-2. Roddick used a booming serve and power groundstrokes for the win. "I had one
bad game in the second set where he got the break (but) I feel good. I feel healthy. I feel like I've been hitting the ball well in practice," Roddick said.
